The
Zambian Safari Company is pleased to offer a new itinerary
to supplement our popular Northern Explorer. This 10
night 11 day safari takes you to some of Zambia’s remotest
areas.
Day 1:
Chete Island
Arrive and transfer to Kariba, by road to Chete Island
Lodge. This newly opened tourist operation centered on
the Zambian Bird Sanctuary of Chete, Sekute and Zebra
Islands. These Islands lying at the southern-end of Kariba
are home to Elephants, Hippos, Zebra, Waterbuck, Kudu and
many more; Birdlife here is incredible with over 300 bird
species having been recorded.
Day 2/3:
Chete Island
Activities include canoeing, fishing, game viewing and
sailing.
Day 4
Kafue National Park. Road Transfer to The Kafue National
Park, Africa’s biggest animal sanctuary
Day 5/6
The Kafue
National Park
Accommodation will be at one of the fine lodges in this park
namely Mukanbi, Kaingu or Puku Pan Safari Lodge. Activities
include Game Drives, Walking Safaris and Night Drives.
Day 7
Depart Lusaka.
